A level 4 trauma facility with a 14-bed ED is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in Texas.This position includes both clinic and call responsibilities, with an average of 5-8 phone consults per day. The clinician will typically see around 3 patients daily and handle approximately one admission per day. The facility experiences about 2,500 visits per month and uses Cerner EMR. Credentialing takes approximately three weeks, and there is no APP support available.
