A Community Health Center is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.In Lawrenceville, Georgia, you can immerse yourself in history by visiting the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, a beautifully restored 19th-century building that now serves as a museum and cultural center. Lawrenceville also boasts an array of parks, including Rhodes Jordan Park, where you can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and even a public swimming pool.The credentialing timeframe for the position is one month. The schedule includes Monday through Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The average patient load is 9-12 internal medicine patients per day, with long visit times, primarily focusing on uninsured adults and significant donors. Required certifications include board certification (BC), DEA, and Georgia licensure. The position uses the Athena electronic medical record system.
