Hospitalist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Hospital in Kentucky

A hospital is seeking a hospitalist for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in Kentucky.This position requires notes to be documented in EPIC, either by handwriting, dictation, or directly into the EMR. Coverage is needed as soon as the provider is privileged, ideally for one week each month. The schedule includes 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a possible swing shift to be discussed during the interview. Expected patient load is around 19 per day. Vent management experience is required, though other procedures are not necessary. Support staff includes six doctors and two advanced practice providers (APPs) during the day, and one doctor with one APP at night. Anesthesia support is available. Licensure is preferred due to the immediate start date, and the credentialing process typically takes 120 days.
