Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facilities Around Washington

An FQHC is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located across many locations in Washington.The position offers a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch; note that four 10-hour shifts are not an option, but part-time work is accepted. The caseload is up to 18 patients per day for advanced practice providers and up to 21 for physicians. The EMR system in use is EPIC, and while no specific certifications are required, candidates must have at least two years of experience in family medicine. Bread-and-butter procedures are expected. The credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days, potentially sooner, with 2 to 4 weeks needed for credentials; the most significant delay often comes from securing references, so pushing for those quickly is encouraged as an incentive for starting sooner.
