Full-time Nocturnist - 6p-2a - Convenient to Flint and Lansing

An independent community hospital in Michigan convenient to both Flint and Lansing, is seeking an experienced Internal/Family Medicine Nocturnist for a new position created to support one existing Nocturnist during peak admit/coverage times. Responsibilities include admissions, cross-coverage, ICU coverage, procedures and rapid response/codes. Candidates should be comfortable performing procedures such as vent management, central lines, arterial lines, and have case logs supporting their application for privileges. TeleICU coverage is utilized on nights. Anesthesia, General Surgery are available for intubations. This opportunity offers a unique schedule of Monday-Friday, 6p-2a.
Additional Details:
- 160-bed hospital
- 6-7 admissions per night
- Overall census among the daytime/nighttime group is about 40 patients
- Scribe Available on Nights
-Seeking August/September start time frame or later.
Competitive compensation, based on MGMA data, with a median range of around $415,000 dependent on qualifications and experience. Quality and Incentive bonuses available. Full benefits also include liability insurance, health insurance, retirement options, PTO, and CME.
